The draw for the 2017 Anglo Printers Junior Football Championship was made in Darver tonight.

In what turned out to be a very interesting draw, Group 4 looks to be the most evenly matched with three ‘greater Ardee’ clubs in the Sean McDermotts, John Mitchels and the Westerns paired alongside Wolfe Tones.

The highest ranked side in the competition and last year’s beaten finalists Glen Emmets are in Group 1 alongside Stabannon Parnells and Cuchulainn Gaels.

Group 2 is made up of St. Nicholas, Glyde Rangers and Naomh Malachi, all of whom met in the recent Kevin Mullen Shield programme.

Roche and Dowdallshill is another derby pairing in Group 3 with last year’s semi-finalists Lannléire making up the group.
