Dundalk Dog Rescue invite businesses to join them for unveiling of new centre plans this Thursday

Dundalk Dog Rescue have issued an open invitation to all local business owners and interested parties to join them this Thursday for the launch night of their plans for their new facility.

Many local companies would already have received an invite already but any who haven’t are invited to come along on the night to McAteer’s The Food House in Clanbrassil Street.

The event runs from 6.15pm to 7.15pm with the official unveiling of the plans for Dundalk’s new dog rescue centre, the first of its kind in Ireland, set to take place.

Rosemary MacCabe one of Ireland’s biggest bloggers, journalists and social media influencers will speak at this brief but informative evening, which will be topped off with refreshments supplied by McAteer’s.

A separate public information event or other groups and interested members of the public will take place shortly.

Kelly Teather, a member of Dundalk Dog Rescue, thinks the Dundalk business community can greatly contribute.

“Businesses of Dundalk have the power to aid their community in a way that can impact the town greatly, not only now but in the years to come,” she said.

“By standing with Dundalk Dog Rescue, businesses can take part in creating a legacy that shows Dundalk cares for more than just its citizens but also for their pets and other deserving animals sharing this land. We want to make a home for these dogs that the town can take pride in and pass down to the next generation.”

Businesses and individuals interested in participating in the evening or looking to make an enquiry regarding Dundalk Dog Rescue can call 086 1737008 or alternatively email ddrdundalkrescue@gmail.com and RSVP.
