The Tuam mother and baby scandal might be one of the country’s major talking points right now but a Dundalk filmmaker was amongst those who highlighted the issue almost three years ago.

Marcus Howard put together a documentary called ‘Tuam Ireland’s Shame Documentary’ in June 2014 which he directed and edited.

The half hour independent recording looks at some of the international media reaction to the Tuam scandal as well as poignant speeches and music from the Justice for the Tuam Babies March and Vigil on June 11th 2014.

The names of the 796 deceased babies are also featured in the documentary.
