Dundalk house prices rise by another 0.7%

The average price of a house in Dundalk continued to grow in April, rising by more than 0.7% according to the latest Residential Property Price Index from the Central Statistics Office (CSO).

The average price of a house in Dundalk in April stood at €164,026, an increase of almost €1,200 on the €162,835 it stood at in March.

The average price of a house in Co Louth also increased by 0.4% from €167,950 in March to €168,7000 in April.

Drogheda, which is the most expensive part of the county to buy a house in, also saw its prices increase from €190,727 in March to €192,123 in April – a jump of 0.7% also.

The median price of a house in Dundalk also jumped by €1,000 to €141,000 while the median price for Drogheda remained unchanged at €175,000. The median price for the county jumped by €2,000 to €152,000.
