Dundalk’s possible Champions League opponents narrowed down to six

Dundalk FC’s potential Champions League opponents has been narrowed down to six sides ahead of this morning’s draw for the second qualifying round in Switzerland.

Stephen Kenny’s side will face one of the following sides:

  • Celtic (Scotland)
  • Legia Warszawa (Poland)
  • Maribor (Slovenia)
  • Malmo (Sweden)
  • Rosenborg (Norway)
  • FH Hafnarfjordur (Iceland)

Previously there had been 17 potential sides that Dundalk could have faced but this morning UEFA made smaller groups with Dundalk one of the six unseeded teams in Group 3, along with Vardar, Zrinjski, IFK Mariehamn and two winners from first qualifying round ties.

The draw will be streamed live on UEFA.com at 11am this morning.
