Gardaí investigating robbery of man at knifepoint

Gardaí in Dundalk are appealing for information after a man was robbed at knifepoint just outside the town in the early hours of Easter Sunday.

The incident occurred on the Armagh Road around 3.45am.

The victim was approach a male described as being in his late teens who threatened him with a Stanley knife before being forced to hand over a sum of money.

The thief is described as being around 5ft 10in in height, had dark hair and was wearing a grey top and black tracksuit bottoms.
