Just over a week to claim €80,000 prize from Lotto ticket bought in Dundalk

A person who bought a lottery ticket in Dundalk worth over €80,000 has until Friday week to claim their prize.

The National Lottery issued a warning today that the winner or winners of a €80,629 prize has until Friday April 28th to claim their prize or miss out altogether.

The lucky €5 quick pick ticket, which matched five numbers plus the bonus, was purchased in Central News in Clanbrassil Street on Saturday January 28th this year ahead of that evening’s Lotto draw.

The winning numbers were 13, 14, 22, 24, 25, 42 and the bonus was 7.

Winning ticketholders have 90 dates from the date of the draw to claim their prize meaning the person who purchased the lucky ticket has until 5.30pm on Friday week to collect the five figure sum.

If you’re the lucky ticketholder, sign the back of the ticket and contact the National Lottery Prize Claims Team on 01 836 4444.

National Lottery Chief Executive, Dermot Griffin, said: “There is somebody out there with a ticket worth €80,629 and we would love to see them in our Winners’ Room here in Lottery headquarters.”
