Kelly and Murphy make Dundalk returns
Dundalk FC have further strengthened their squad by resigning two local players, Nathan Murphy and Simon Kelly, late last night.
The two players have represented the Oriel Park outfit more than 250 times between them with Murphy returning to the club having featured for Dundalk last season, with Kelly returning after last featuring for his hometown team back in 2009.
Murphy comes in as cover for left back Dane Massey and replaces Eoghan Osborne, who has joined Derry City.
For Kelly this will be a third spell at the club, having made his debut a decade ago.
A First Division winner with the club, his stint at Oriel Park was ended when he emigrated to Australia.
Both go straight into the squad for tonight’s match away to Cork City.
