Knockbridge dog owner issues warning over possible poison being spread in the village

Pet owners in the Knockbridge area have been warned over possible poison being spread in the area.

A concerned dog owner has contacted Talk of the Town to say that her two dogs had been “poisoned with what looks like a very large amount of rat poison.”

Thankfully their condition was caught in time and the dogs are on the road to recovery following treatment in a local vets.

Lauren Keating insists she wants to warn people to the dangers of poison ater claiming that a large food parcel wrapped in tinfoil was thrown into her garden in the Loughantarve estate.

While there has been no official confirmation of poison being spread in the area, it is better to be safe than sorry and take precautions if you see your pets near food items not provided by you.
