Two local schools were celebrating last week after scooping prizes in the Road Safety Authority’s Seatbelt Sheriff competition in Dublin Castle.
First class in Castletown Girls’ National School won first prize on the day for their poster ‘Secure Our Future’, scooping €2,000 for the school in the process.
Meanwhile, second class students of Scoil Mhuire na nGael in Bay Estate also took first prize in the ‘Hi-Glo Silver’ competition for their poster ‘Ready, Steady, Glow.’
Well done to both schools.
