Louth hurlers ring the changes for visit of Maynooth

Louth hurlers have made nine changes to their team for this Sunday’s Bord na Mona Kehoe Cup clash against Maynooth University in Darver on Sunday.

Full back Brian Minogue, the half back line of Andrew McCrave, Mike Lyons and Paul Challoner, midfielder Darren O’Hanrahan and 40 yards man Nigel Stanley are the only survivors form the side which started last weekend’s 3-14 to 0-6 defeat against Wicklow in Arklow.

Amongst those returning to the side are the experienced trio of Pearse Óg’s Shane Callan, Knockbridge’s Conor Kerrigan and Naomh Moninne’s Diarmuid Murphy.

The team in full is: Donal Connolly; Conor Kerrigan, Brian Minogue, Conor Matthews; Andrew McCrave, Mike Lyons, Paul Challoner; Shane Callan, Darren O’Hanrahan; Turlough Hendry, Nigel Stanley, David Kettle; Gary O’Brien, James Costello, Diarmuid Murphy.

Throw-in at Darver on Sunday is at 2pm.
