Minister Simon Coveney to visit Dundalk tomorrow for student consultation
Minister for Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government Simon Coveney will be in Dundalk tomorrow morning for an audience with students at Dundalk IT.
The student consultation event will discuss ‘Ireland 2040 – Our Plan’ which will shape Ireland’s future.
The one hour event runs from 10am to 11am at the Muirhevna Building at DkIT and is free to attend by registering here.
The consultation is part of the Government’s commitment to developing a new a 20-year strategy for Ireland: Ireland 2040 – Our Plan.
An outline of the event reads as follows: “This is your chance to make your voice heard in an interactive Q&A session with the Minister.
“Twenty years may seem like a long time away but in reality this is YOUR FUTURE. In 2040 you will be at the height of your career and you will be responsible for making decisions about family,housing, transport jobs and business.
“Your opinions are important and this is your chance to make sure change happens to benefit your future!
“In case you cannot attend the event, you can still submit a question or item that will be tabled for discussion on the day by emailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org”
