Recently, we brought you a story courtesy of Cllr Oliver Morgan about a person who was dumping waste in an alleyway at the rear of the McEneaney’s XL shop on the Avenue Road, which links to Drive One in Muirhevnamor.

The matter has been ongoing for some time but one local person took it upon themselves at the weekend to clean the mess up.

However, since then more waste has been dumped, only this time the person may have gave the game away on themselves with Cllr Morgan set to report them to the Litter Warden.

He said via his Facebook page: “Having exhausted all avenues with the council in respect of the removal of this rubbish (dirty nappies) dumped at the alleyway that leads from Drive One, Muirhevnamor to the Avenue Road, I have been informed that a private citizen, who wishes to remain anonymous, took it upon themselves to remove somebody else’s household waste over the weekend. Since this happened a full bag of rubbish has since been dumped in the same location, however, an electricity bill has been found with the bag and I hope that the Litter Wardens will take the appropriate action necessary.
