Sundays in Spring Concert Series in Carlingford to get underway next month

The Sundays in Spring Concert Series at Carlingford Heritage Centre will get underway next month and run for five Sundays.

The event will be a miscellany celebrating music, song and the spoken word.

It kicks off on Sunday April 2nd with ‘The Pianist and the Voilinist’ Michael McHale and Karl Sweeney. The following week on April 9th will be ‘The Harpist, the Piper and the Poet’ with Deirdre Granville, Brendan McCreanor and Ailbhe NicGhearbhuigh performing.

After a break for Easter, the series will return on Sunday April 23rd with ‘The Stars of the County Down’ The Sands Family.

Sunday April 30th will see a performance by the “Last of the Dubliners’ John Sheahan before the series concludes on May 7th with ‘Two Mean Master Fiddlers and the Dancer’ Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh, Cleek Schrey and Nic Gareiss.

All shows run from 4pm to 5pm with local couple Zoe Conway and John McIntyre the artistic directors.
