Plans have been drawn up for 15 new homes on the Upper Point Road in Dundalk.

Wonderglade, who are behind the developments at Carlinn Hall and The Fairways, have submitted a planning application to construct the one to two storey residential dwellings on a site which is partially already under development.

The site for the proposed new homes includes an area of land previously occupied by 76 and 78 Point Road (pictured above), since demolished, which forms part of a site with extant planning permission for residential development. This was permitted to Keel Properties Ltd in 2007 and extended in 2013 with construction currently underway here.

Vehicular access to Wonderglade’s proposed development will be from a permitted access for Upper Point Road and via internal access roads all permitted previously.

A decision on the matter will be made by May 3rd.
