520 students receiving concessionary school transport
A total of 520 students in Louth are receiving concessionary school transport for the current school year, new figures have revealed.
A parliamentary question from Deputy Carolan Nolan revealed that there had been a total of 756 applications in the county with no current free seats available.
In his response Minister of State at the Department of Education and Skills John Halligan said school transport was a “significant operation” managed by Bus Éireann on behalf of the Department.
