Incredible Years winners announced

Over 100 photos of the Incredible Years Programmes in Action involving families, early years services, schools and community groups were in focus at a special event held in the County Library in Dundalk this afternoon.

The event was the announcement and prize giving ceremony of the winners of the Incredible Years in Action Photo Competition, organised by The Genesis Programme.

The competition was sponsored by CTI Business Solutions and each of the winners received a €100 voucher from them and a framed print of their winning entry.

Hugh Doogan, Programme Manager with The Genesis Programme said: “We are always looking at ways to celebrate the great work that is taking place through the Incredible Years whether that be in the home, the preschool, the classroom or at a parent programme in the community. The idea for a photo competition came out of that.

“To receive over 100 entries was incredible and now we are delighted that all of those entries will be on show when the Incredible Years in Action exhibition tours our early years services, schools and community settings over the coming months.

“I would like to thank Mark Kirwan and CTI Business Solutions for their sponsorship and congratulate not just our deserving winners but everyone who took time to enter a photograph.”
