Air Bound Trampoline Park facing closure over lack of insurance

Air Bound Trampoline Park in the North Link Retail Park faces closure next week because it cannot get insurance.

The facility has announced that it is being forced to close its doors on Tuesday December 12th because it cannot find a company to cover them.

In a statement on their Facebook page, Air Bound said no claims have been paid out against them over the last two years but said they were being penalised for the “Irish claim culture”.

The statement said: “We would like to take this time to extend our appreciation and thanks to all of our loyal customers over the last two years for your continued support. We at Air Bound are absolutely devastated, staff and management alike.

“Unfortunately we have to close our doors for the last time on Tuesday the 12th of December as we cannot get insurance due to the Irish claim culture. None of the claims against us have been payed out however the insurance company are still penalising us and therefore we have no choice but to close our doors.”

Air Bound said they would honour vouchers and passes before closing and expressed hope they would reopen in the future.

“For anyone with vouchers and passes this weekend, Monday and Tuesday will be your last opportunity to use them. Anyone with bookings please contact us to rearrange an alternative date for you.

“Thank you once again to our loyal customers. We will miss you all and please don’t delete us on FB as Air Bound will RE BOUND sometime very soon. Until then thank you, Air Crew.”
