Carlingford Brewery Company have marked their first anniversary in their brewery at The Old Mill in Riverstown with the launch of a new beer.

They have just released a new barrel aged red ale which gets its unique flavour from the brewery’s Taaffe’s Red Ale being aged in whiskey casks.

Only 150 cases of the barrel aged red ale has been produced.

Limited bottles of the beer are currently on sale from Callan’s Alcohol Emporium in Park Street in Dundalk, as well as a number of outlets in Dublin.
