Dundalk company Multihog moving to new manufacturing facility
Local company Multihog has announced that they are moving to a new 89,000sq ft manufacturing facility at the Finnabair Industrial Park from next month.
Multihog, founded in 2008 by Jim McAdam, develops a number of multi-purpose vehicles which are used by airports, local authorities, facilities management firms and road maintenance crews to maintain their areas.
Up until now the business has been based at the Brewery Business Park, off the Ardee Road, but from next month Multihog will be based at their new global headquarters off the Inner Relief Road.
In a statement on their website, Multihog said: “Due to rapid growth, we are delighted to announce that we have acquired a new manufacturing facility in our hometown of Dundalk, Ireland, which will house our global headquarters.
“Following the launch of our latest multipurpose tractor range in 2015, product demand has grown significantly, and the move has been necessary to support increased production and expedite our ambitious expansion plans into new global markets.
“Our new 89,000 ft² home gives us room for future expansion, and enables us to focus on our core values: innovation and quality.
“The move has allowed us to build a dedicated R&D hub for our growing team of innovators to continue developing new product ranges, and has also afforded us the opportunity to invest in state of the art production facilities – ensuring quality is at the forefront of everything we manufacture.”
