Dundalk Dog Rescue to hold fundraising clothes drive for next two weekends

Dundalk Dog Rescue will hold a fundraising clothes drive in Dundalk over the course of the next two weekends.

They will have a van in the car park of DkIT Sport (formerly JJB) this Saturday and the following Saturday January 27th form 11am to 4pm accepting donations of unwanted clothing.

The donations will be used to “raise much needed funds to care for all the dogs in our care today and in the future”.

As well as at the two days at DkIT Sport, Dundalk Dog Rescue will also be accepting donations at the Healthy Pets Veterinary Clinic on the Ard Easmuin Road on Monday January 28th and Wednesday January 31st from 9.30am to 6.30pm daily.

They have asked for allclothes to be bagged in black bags, full if possible.

They are accepting clean wearable clothes, paired shoes, handbags, belts, soft toys, curtains and duvet/pillow covers.

Please do not donate dirty/wet unwearable clothes, single shoes, socks, underwear, blankets, duvets or plastic toys.

Earlier this week Talk of the Town exclusively revealed that Dundalk Dog Rescue had been granted conditional planning permission for their new centre at Whiterath in Dromiskin.
