Dundalk Young Irelands table quiz in The Castle Bar this Friday

Dundalk Young Irelands GFC will hold their annual table quiz this Friday night in the Castle Bar in Seatown.

A team of four costs €40 with all welcome to attend.

Questions on the night will range from topical to sporting and general knowledge and a fun night is assured.

Dundalk Young Irelands are the oldest GAA club in Louth and represented the county in finishing runners up in the very first All Ireland Football Final in 1887, going down narrowly to Limerick Commercials.

Not content with winning the first  Louth GAA Senior Football Final they started their second century by winning the first Louth GAA Football League when it was initially played in 1903.

The club are looking for a big turn-out of current and former players and friends at the Castle Bar on Friday night. All are welcome.
