Dundalk man Garry Hoey has been included in the Irish squad for the forthcoming Amputee European Championship.
The midfielder was one of 13 players named on the squad for the inaugural tournament in Turkey from October 1st to 10th.
Ireland have been drawn in Group C alongside Russia, England and Greece with their first game against world champions Russia on October 3rd. They then take on England the next day before facing Greece the day after.
Garry has been playing amputee football since 2012 following a workplace accident which saw him lose part of his leg, making his international debut against Great Britain in Limerick the following year.
