Jackie’ Bar and Restaurant are planning an expansion of their facilities on the Dublin Road.
Marina McCaughey has applied to Louth County Council for planning permission to construct a single storey kitchen extension to the rear of the existing property, including painted timber cladding to the north gable.
She is also hoping to convert the existing kitchen and store area into restaurant toilets and convert the existing toilets into a seated area, thus extending the restaurant.
As part of the application the existing food preparation room would also be demolished with some minor internal alterations carried out.
A decision on the matter is due by August 24th.
