‘Feet on the Street’ rally against HSE to take place in Dundalk on Saturday
A group of concerned people from Dundalk have organised a ‘Feet on the Street’ rally against the HSE for next Saturday afternoon.
The rally was organised in light of the cervical cancer misdiagnosis controversy, which has dominated headlines nationally in recent days.
One of the organisers said the event has been organised “to show solidarity and repulsion with the women of this country that are caught up in this dreadful scenario.”
The rally will take place at Thomas J Clarke Park (opposite the Pet Shop) on Linenhall Street on Saturday at 4pm. Those involved will then march to the Market Square where there will be a guest speaker to address the crowd.
All are welcome to attend.
A Facebook page for the group has also been set up here.
