Gardaí in Dundalk are appealing for information in relation to a break-in to a house in the Quay area of the town last Wednesday.
The incident occurred between 12.35pm and 12.45pm in St Joseph’s Park.
A man had left his home for just a short period of time but upon his return he saw a young male running from the house. He subsequently got into a white car which fled from the scene.
Anyone who was in the area at the time who may have witnessed anything suspicious or who seen a white car in the area acting suspiciously is asked to contact Dundalk Garda Station on 042 9335577.
