Huge line-up announced for Convoy to Cooley this August
The line-up for this year’s Convoy to Cooley Peninsula Ploughing Festival has been confirmed in recent days with tickets now on sale.
The three day extravaganza will see the traditional Convoy to Cooley and Cooley Peninsula Ploughing and Field Day joined together to ensure a memorable weekend for everyone.
The event is due to take place from August 18th to 20th in Riverstown.
The weekend will get underway on Friday August 18th with a ceilí, as well as music from Declan Nerney and Matt Leavy.
Then on Saturday there is a full day of activities, including a truck run and tractor run. That night Marty Mone will perform Live in the Marquee followed by country sensation Nathan Carter.
Then on Sunday there will be the vintage show, as well as the ever popular ploughing event. This will be followed by music in the marquee from local singer Henry Mac, followed by Hugo Duncan and Michael English.
As well as the music and field events there will be funfairs, sheep racing, animal pens, live screens, BBQs, a range of stalls, roasting pits, ploughing and much, much more.
