Kenny nominated for PFAI Manager of the Year
Dundalk FC manager Stephen Kenny has been nominated for the PFAI’s Manager of the Year award.
The nomination comes after a season which seen the Lilywhites win four trophies, including the league title and FAI Cup.
The Dundalk boss will be aiming for three in a row after previously winning Manager of the Year in 2013 and 2014.
Up against Kenny for the award is Bohemians’ Keith Long and Shane Keegan, who won the First Division with Wexford Youths.
The awards will be given out at the PFAI awards in Dublin on Friday week.
Seven Dundalk players have been selected in the team of the year with Richie Towell and Daryl Horgan up for Player of the Year and Sean Gannon nominated for the Young Player of the Year.
