Last train from Dundalk to Dublin deferred until just before midnight on Saturday for Coldplay concert goers
Local people who are attending this Saturday’s Coldplay contest in Croke Park are advised that the last train home from Connolly Station has been delayed to give them adequate time to catch it.
Traditionally the last train from Dublin to Dundalk on a Saturday night is the 23:37 service from Connolly Station.
However because of the concert this train has been deferred 21 minutes to 23:58 to accommodate concert goers. A DART as far as Malahide will also run at 23:41 to alleviate the rush for this service.
The Dundalk train is expected to arrive back in Clarke Station at around 1.20am on Sunday morning.
