National Leprechaun Hunt takes place in Carlingford this Sunday
This year’s National Leprechaun Hunt in Carlingford will take place this Sunday.
There will be €2,000 in cash prizes to be found on the day
The hunt takes place from 2pm to 4.30pm with all involved asked to assemble at the the Tourist Office car park in Carlingford between 1pm and 1.45pm. Registration takes place on the day from 12.30pm.
Those taking part pay €6 for a hunting licence and will then hunt for 100 individual ceramic Leprechauns, each of which has a reward recorded on his base. The top prize is €500 with rewards to be collected from The Village Green in Carlingford from 5pm.
A family pass, priced €20 for two adults and two kids is also available for €20.
