The go ahead has been given for a new restaurant at Dundalk Retail Park.

Operators of the facility on the Inner Relief Road, Chandos Investments Plc, have been granted conditional planning permission by Louth County County to construct a standalone cafe/restaurant unit with an overall height of 5.07m and a gross floor area of 232sqm within the car park of the retail park.

The proposal, which was first put forward last August, includes signage for the unit, an associated outdoor seating area, landscaping all associated site works on the 0.0378ha site.

At present the only eateries at the Retail Park are KFC and the Park Café.
