Louth’s Lotto luck has continued after it emerged that a local filling station sold a ticket worth €71,875 for last Saturday’s National Lottery draw.
A customer of Omeath Fuels at Cross Road in Omeath is set to scoop the tidy sum after matching five numbers plus the bonus.
The winning numbers were 2, 7, 9, 35, 41 and 45 with the lucky winner just one number out from the top prize of €7,158,486.
The winning story said they were “extremely delighted” to have sold the lucky lottery ticket.
The latest win comes just a couple of weeks after a €500,000 Euromillions Plus winning ticket was sold in Dunnes Stores in Ard Easmuinn, Dundalk while last summer a €5.9 million lotto jackpot winning ticket was bought at EK Fuels at the Lisdoo, Armagh Road, Dundalk.
Saturday night’s jackpot is now heading for €8m.
