Rosemary MacCabe to speak at Dundalk Dog Rescue event night
Lifestyle blogger and social media star Rosemary MacCabe is set to give a speech regarding her past experience adopting a rescue dog during Dundalk Dog Rescue’s upcoming event night on Thursday week.
Rosemary will be one of many scheduled presenters taking part in Dundalk Dog Rescue’s event night and will discuss why it is important to adopt rescue dogs rather than undergoing the traditional route of purchasing from pet shops.
The event will take place between 6pm and 7pm at McAteer’s The Food House, Clanbrassil Street, on Thursday 27th April.
The night is open to all Dundalk businesses and will offer the community a chance to learn the history behind Dundalk Dog Rescue and the rescue team’s plans for the future involving the development of a new centre expected to open by the end of the year.
Kelly Teather, a member of Dundalk Dog Rescue, thinks the Dundalk business community can greatly contribute.
“Businesses of Dundalk have the power to aid their community in a way that can impact the town greatly, not only now but in the years to come,” she said.
“By standing with Dundalk Dog Rescue, businesses can take part in creating a legacy that shows Dundalk cares for more than just its citizens but also for their pets and other deserving animals sharing this land. We want to make a home for these dogs that the town can take pride in and pass down to the next generation.”
