Russell’s Saloon at 28 Park Street have been given the go ahead to retain and add elements to the beer garden of the pub.

Owner Greg Gormley has been granted conditional planning permission to retain an existing bar area located within a former outbuilding and to convert an existing store area to a bar area.

He is also set to add fire exit doors and toilets and replace the roof of the former outbuilding.

Russell’s is open three years this month and in that time has become well known for its wide range of gins and its beer garden.
