Kenny – who has been at the club since November 2012 – has overseen unprecedented success at Oriel Park leading the club to three league titles in a row for the first time in the club’s history, the FAI Cup, the EA Sports Cup and the historic European run in 2016 which culminated in reaching the group stages of the UEFA Europa League.
He will look to add to that this year with Dundalk having booked a place in next month’s EA Sports Cup final against Shamrock Rovers and the FAI Cup still to play for. Dundalk meet Derry City in the first round on Sunday. Kick-off at Oriel Park is 6.30pm.
