There are now just 10 days to go until the Kahuna Festival takes place in Dundalk on Saturday July 22nd.

The one night, three themed stage event will take place in a secret location in Dundalk on the night with international and Irish headline acts announced.

They include Josh Butler (London), Quinton Campbell (Dublin), Sidney Charles (Germany/London) and Max Chapman (London).

Many fans will be looking forward to Josh Butler’s return after his triumphant set earlier in the year, while Quinton Campbell will bring a show that has already set him apart as a recipient of the AVA Emerging Producer Award. Resident Advisor chart topping DJ Sidney Charles also heads the bill with Resonance Records’ Max Chapman completing the top tier International acts.

Kahuna is presented by the successful Absolute Deep collective promoters who offered additional insights to the festival.

While remaining tight lipped about the specific location, co founder and managing director David Grimes said: “We chose this particular coastal setting as it will provide a unique atmospheric experience for the festival goers.”

Meanwhile, co-founder and artist liaison Ryan McKevitt hinted that there may be further additions to the line up.

He said: “We are in the closing stages of negotiating with a final act, once confirmed it will be announced across our social and online platforms.”

Fellow co-founder and operations manager Voyo Spasojevic reinforced that the event promises to offer superb value and choice.

“With the event being BYOB, people can economise while bringing their own preferred beverage and partying for more than 12 hours in the most unique festival location in Ireland with a line up of local and international talent to suit all ages and genres across the board,” said.

“Kahuna is a one day/night music extravaganza located on an exotic coastal location that will provide the patrons of Kahuna with a mysterious and diverse musical experience and escape,” added David.

Joining the headliners are: Absolute Deep, Shed Sessions, Tommy McCoy, Get Busy, Midnight Disco, Codework, Dejester B2B Kettama, Phat Kidzz, Accidents in the Workplace, Low Profile, Brown Notes, TPM, third Smoke, Bob Standard, Pusher, Lab Works, Sharkey B2B Dolan, Induztrial Dialect, Tom Kip and Taroch Duffy.

Anyone who fancies a taster to the event is invited to the Dublin Kahuna launch party in Crowbar, Button Factory Temple Bar on tonight. Entry is free.
