Irish HomeCare has today launched a new initiative in Co Louth – The Rapid Response team.

The new service will allow Irish HomeCare to provide care to the elderly and most vulnerable in our local community at short notice.

Ten new jobs will also be created on the back of the new initiative with recruitment now underway for qualified Health Care Assistants.

The Rapid Response team will serve the county’s urban and rural areas.

Director of Care and Services for Irish HomeCare Anthony McCool said it would allow the company “to provide quality care to frail and vulnerable adults at short notice.”

The Rapid Response Team’s main tasks will be to assist the elderly within their own home environment and be the first responders when the delivery of care is needed. According to Irish HomeCare, the service is in reaction to issues like bed blocking, aging alone and will allow the elderly to live their remaining days in the comfort of their own home with dignity.

If you are interested in one of the 10 positions and are able to take on a call at short notice please contact the Irish HomeCare recruitment team at jobs@irishhomecare.ie or call 0818 776 361.
