They’re the 007 of each other
A picture of former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan on the set of his new film has gone viral for his uncanny resemblance to Louth TD Gerry Adams.
The Meath born actor was photographed while filming in London yesterday on the set of an as-yet untitled thriller in whch he plays an ex-IRA member turned government official named Liam Hennessey.
The movie is based on Stephen Leather’s novel The Chinaman.
Amongst those to comment on the resemblance between Brosnan and Adams was the Sinn Féin president’s colleague Martin Ferris TD, who tweeted a picture of Brosnan with the caption ‘Who cut Gerry’s hair?’
Radio presenters Ian Dempsey and Marty Whelan also mentioned it on their respective shows.
